ABOUT THEIR SKYACADEMY EXPERIENCE!

  • Hi! I wanted to share some exciting news. I just finished working 11 contract days for $1,000 a day and I got a $20,000 tip. Last month I got a $10,000 tip and I didn't think it would happen again, especially so soon!

  • The broker told me he has heard SO much about SkyAngels and said he loves our whole demeanor, attitude and work ethic.

    Hannah

  • The owner of our new legacy told our CEO that he only wants me assigned to his AC and was really impressed with me! Yay hoping that will give me some bargaining room for salary increase negotiations soon. My boss only wants to hire SkyAngels now! They still haven't put me through our own company training yet because they don't think I need it. Great job training me!

  • I had all the correct answers due to our training. I felt confident with my responses, and the pilot was very pleased with our phone interview. After, I got a call back to discuss pay and I signed a letter of employment agreeing on salary. I sent over all my documents and they put me in their system. I got my own company email with them.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • If you love traveling, have a passion for hospitality, can maintain a flexible schedule, and love meeting amazing people, then a career in Private Aviation would be very exciting for you.

You can read more about the life of a private jet flight attendant (#ASkyAngelsLife) on our blog here.

  • SkyAngels does not hire SKYacademy graduates. We do offer extensive support to assist you with prospecting and launching your career as a private jet flight attendant.

Upon completion of training, you will have the opportunity to join our SKYcrew Network giving you a platform to market yourself to prospective employers.

  • Everything about our training curriculum and resources is geared towards ensuring that you are successful in landing a career post-graduation.

One of the advantages of attending SKYacademy is that you begin to integrate into a network of industry leaders who support you throughout launching your career. SKYacademy instructors are active private jet flight attendants who are well-connected within the industry and can aid in your success.

  • Most operators hire based on skills and ability to perform the requirements of the career. With that said, most private jets are 6 feet in height, so while there is no height requirement, you want to be able to comfortably walk throughout the aircraft.

Most operators will require you to be able to purchase alcohol requests, so a minimum age of 21 years old is preferred.

We have had students attend SKYacademy ranging in all ages up into their 50s. Your success in landing a job within the industry depends more on your drive and dedication to securing a career in this field than on your age.

While there are no weight restrictions, you will be required to demonstrate your ability to execute the career requirements of inflight safety and emergency procedures.

  • Full-time cabin attendants earn $150k + per year.

Cabin attendant pay as a contract crewmember ranges between $600 and $1,000 per day.

Imagine this: You get booked for a 2-week trip to Bora Bora. You fly two of those days - there and back - but you get paid for every day you were away whether you were flying or sipping a smoothie on the beach, PLUS all your expenses: hotel, food, and rental cars - including the smoothie are all reimbursed! Now let’s say you were getting paid $700/day to be on this trip which would equate to you earning $9,800.00 as a contract cabin attendant for a 14-day trip to BoraBora, all expenses paid. This means not only did you pay back the SKYacademy $6500 investment you also put $3,300 in your pocket.

  • SkyAngels offers TWO PAYMENT options:

PAY IN FULL (SAVE $400) - $6,500 USD

THREE INSTALLMENTS - of $2,300 USD

Contact us here to discuss your options. The payment plan can not be applied to any discounts.

  • You can recoup the cost of training by booking less than 14 days of flights. That's it!

Applies to graduates that follow SkyAngels comprehensive DREAM. BRAND. BUILD Method for networking and securing work within the industry.

  • Our All-inclusive training consists of 5 weeks of training broken down into two parts; online training and in-person training. The online training is comprised of 8 modules that can be completed at your own pace, from anywhere in the world.

The in-person training runs over a course of five days at our training facility in Santa Rosa, California.

  • Travel and accommodations are not included in the cost of SKYacademy, however, we do offer recommendations on nearby accommodation options and connect you with your classmates so that you can reduce expenses.

  • You do not need to relocate to become a SkyAngel. When launching your career, it’s best if you live in an area with private jet activity. Most metropolitan areas and international airports are great areas to live near.

If you are still not sure, research "private jet FBOs" (aka private jet terminals) in your area. If your local airport/s have FBO's located at them, then you are in luck. If not, you may need to relocate to find work.
