Every day we receive many applications from individuals wanting to attend SkyAngels SKYacademy. These ladies want to travel the world as SkyAngels. But how badly do they want it?
During the application process, we speak with those we are considering accepting into SKYacademy and often, during these conversations, the applicant wants to know if we can guarantee work upon graduation. Our answer to this question is this…
Most of us, in our lifetime, have been called or heard the term “They are green.” which is generally meant to describe someone that is new to an industry, meaning they have little or no experience in the industry in which they are pursuing a career. It should NOT, however, be meant to suggest that the individual can not succeed or even be better at performing the roles and responsibilities of the position in which they pursue over someone who has been in the industry for years
If you are looking to become a flight attendant on private jets there are a handful of training companies within the U.S.A. that provide the training and certifications necessary to launch your career. So, why does SkyAngels make you apply to attend SKYacademy while the other training companies offer open enrollment where anyone can attend and obtain the training they need?
We love sharing our SKYcrew with you, providing the opportunity for you to get to know them on a deeper level, their passion for service, and desire to create a delightful travel experience for their guests. Our Certified SkyAngels are known as the best in the industry because they are always striving and tasking each other with becoming better every time they go wheels up. We know you and your clients will enjoy a flawless and enjoyable flying experience with a SkyAngel onboard. Please take a moment to learn more about Lauren and her favorite destinations and restaurants around the world.

"Tell me more about SkyAngels SKYacademy!" We receive many calls, text, emails, messages every day from Corporate Aviation Crew and aspiring crew wanting to learn more about SkyAngels SKYacademy. One thing we can tell you, without a doubt, is that you will walk away from training feeling 100% prepared to go out and confidently pound the pavement, secure work and perform the role and responsibility of a Corporate Crewmember for both safety and service in the sky all while having tons of fun and building lasting relationships!
Kara and I first sat down at a little coffee shop in Santa Monica six years ago to talk about SkyAngels and her joining the team - she is someone you will instantly adore. Her smile, laughter, and love for life is contagious and I couldn't wait to have her become a part of the SkyAngels' family. Sadly, Kara wasn't ready then and instead followed in her mother's footsteps and became a Commerical Flight Attendant.
For me, being a Certified SkyAngel (Corporate Cabin Attendant) is like being a kid at a candy shop. I love meeting new people so much and the diverse range of people I get to serve is so exciting for me that it never feels like work. I’m such an extrovert that serving and caring for my guests gives me a natural high (not unlike a kid in a candy shop).
Too often, it’s easy to forget how lucky we are as flight crew in the exclusive and coveted world of Private Aviation – we have been spoiled, so out of the corporate grind that we sometimes forget that even though our schedule is not our own, delegated by those we fly around the world, we still have so much freedom to pursue and do the things we love while we are waiting for our guests to arrive or additional details about the flight or about our guests or confirmation of a flight or departure times, or…the lists goes on. But, somehow we always seem to be hurrying and most importantly, waiting.
